Proposed Flat Rate Rent Increase and Utility Allowance for Third Edition Apartments Public Housing

Purpose of the Notice:

The Housing Authority City of Odessa, Texas (HACOOT) is proposing updates to its Flat Rent Schedule and Utility Allowances for public housing at Third Edition Apartments in accordance with HUD regulations. These changes reflect the most recent HUD Fair Market Rents (FMRs) for Odessa, TX, and updated utility costs.

Flat Rent Adjustments:

The proposed flat rents for OHA public housing are calculated at 80% of HUD's Fair Market Rent (FMR) with adjustments for tenant-paid utilities where applicable.
